Work Permit Transfers
A work permit allows the employee to work for the employer who obtained the permit for them, and nobody else. Once entry clearance is approved at a British Embassy, Consulate or High Commission, or a further leave to remain application is approved by the Home Office from within the UK, the employer then has permission to employ a specific person in a specific job at a specific location. This visa is then endorsed in the employee's passport.
If the employee is currently in the UK on a work permit, he or she is allowed to change from one employer to another, however this is only allowed once the new employer has arranged a new work permit. This will usually take about five to 10 days from the day fastUKpermit completes your application. In addition, a variation of leave application will need to be made at the same time to enable the employee to take up work with the new employer once a new work permit is approved.
